Experience new, healthy ways to manage your stress. Light refreshments will be provided.

Discover a variety of gentle yogic methods to create a relaxation response. Guided visualizations and simple breathing routines will be used to lead the participants into states of restful peace.

Plant propagation, stem & leaf cutting, division of perennials, bulb scaling, and more will be discussed.
Bring in plants to propagate, such as begonia & spider plants; take home a stem or cutting to experiment with.

MPL presents an Autism Documentary Film Screening
Heartchild

Heartchild is a film about twenty-nine year old Crys Worley, who is the mother of a nine year old autistic child, Sasha. It is a remarkable story about a mother's struggles, not only with her own health, but the well being of her son. Worley was inspired to create A.skate Foundation, a non-profit organization that allows autistic children to skate through acceptance, therapy, and education.
This film documents her extraordinary journey.

Parents must sign application form and students must participate in the training in order to enroll in the Book Buddies Program.
